right hand independence required to play jazz, but also to illustrate
how the percussionist's left hand can play in a more melodic style.
Includes sections of exercises to develop swing patterns, left-handed
melodic triplets, swing patterns in 12/8 time plus a section of fairly
advanced solos combining all of the previously taught elements. Written
in standard drumset notation.
